SOMEONE HELP ME. I just saw another episode of Jerry Springer and have come away with the same thought, WHO LETS THESE PEOPLE BREED???? Someone has to stop them now! If you have ever thought that you would like to be a guest on Jerry Springer OR wanted to be in the audiance, the government should be FORCED to come to your house (or trailer) and inject you with something that kills ALL of your sperm or dries up your ovaries for the rest of your life!!! N'uf said! |

True, the type of people that are found on the Jerry Springer show are a disgrace to the human race, but then again look at how many people watch that show. At least they are entertaining us. Regardless of this though, there is no way we can start picking and choosing which people to allow to reproduce and which people we should not allow. Before you know it we may end up with an entire population of 6'2'' blond hair blue eyed scholar athletes. One would think that natural selection itself would weed out most of the Jerry Springer show participants eventually. Also the whole argument rest on the assumption that trashiness/etc. is hereditary. Lets not forget those people who may be born into such terrible environments and still be able to rise above the trash and become a good person. Plus I am a little nervous that this is simply a lets push down the poor argument, since these people are undoubtedly undereducated and likely never had a chance or the privilege that many of us did. Maybe the solution isn't eugenics but instead selective support and educational assistance. Changing a life seems better than ending one. In any case, there is no way Springer should be the one choosing who should reproduce. |
