So i sent my girlfriend a link to a picture of a sexy/cheap outfit (see picture 1) and said she should get it to wear out one night. While of course I would like to see her in it, it was mainly a joke. Then she starts telling me about how cheap the material is and how it was made out of polyester. I didnt realize that she was being serious and thought we were joking around still so I said "do you want me to look in your closet and check your tags, you know you have polyester in there somewhere." This was not meant to be a series comment or trying to put her down or anything. All of a sudden she snapped. I am sure if I was there you would have seen flames coming out of her ears. She said I am always trying to put her down and make her feel bad. She went on to hang up on me and turn her phone off for two days. In my view the comment was not a big deal and here is certainly no way that her response was justified. |

Seems like a classic example of the guy not understanding what his girlfriend is going through on a particular day. Sometimes we just need support and love and don't want to have to argue about little stupid things, for example whether we have polyester in our closets. My guess is that your girlfriend was upset that day and you probably would have known that if you had been paying any attention to the way she was acting. How hard would it have been to simply say, I love you babe and not try to argue about polyester? Of course I am not saying she didn't overreact, but the point is that sometimes it inst about whether she is wrong or not but it is just about you being the better person and giving her what she wants at particular time simply because you love her. |

I have to say this girl is a little crazy if the story goes like helpme. The point is though that if you really care about her you could have stopped the fight before it started. My vote went to hollywood
