When I was younger I remember being on a farm where there were turkeys and one of the turkey's dropped dead after it was frightened by the family dog chasing after it. It makes sense that with such a small heart it would be easy to kill turkeys or chickens for that matter by simply scaring them to death. Maybe this is the humane way to kill them instead of chopping off their heads. |

A chicken/turkey has a small hard but guess what.... every organ and other party of the chicken/turkey is also small. Therefore as a matter of proportionality a chicken/turkey doesn't have any smaller of a heart then a human or any other animal. So a chicken/turkey isn't any more susceptible to being scared to death then anyone or anything else. Maybe if a particular chicken/turkey had heart problems then it would be possible. |
