JUMPING TO RACIAL CONCLUSIONS
Hollywood`s Argument
Hollywood

I overheard an argument in a store the other day. The woman working behind the counter at the store was black and the costumer she had the altercation with was white. It seemed to start out with the worker being rude the customers (at least from what I heard the customer say). The customer said that he as a frequent customer of the store and said he had been going there for 6 years. Then he said "in my time I have seen plenty of you guys come and go." The women behind the counter went crazy and claimed the customer had made a racist remark. She even got the manager of the store involved. He agreed with the customer and so do I. There is no way this was a racist comment. he was merely referring to the workers of the store, regardless of whether they were white, black or purple. Clearly, "you guys" meant workers and not black people.

People like this worker are why there is so much racial tension in this country. You can't say anything without someone claiming you are a racist or bigot.

By making that comment the person is basically comparing the saleswomen to everyone else by belittling her, and comparing people in a bad way is racist, more like discrimination though. Besides, it is not fair for you to say its people like her who cause the racial tension in our country. We the white and greedy caused that a long time ago it was their history , not like they're going to forget it.
