I'm not sure if this is an argument, but I've always really liked Tom Cruise as an actor. He's in some of my favorite movies. A Few Good Men, Rain Man, Minority Report, Risky Business, lots of others. But he is definitely, without a doubt, one of the biggest, lamest wacko's in real life. From his scientology cult status, his weird behavior on Oprah and his strange whirlwind romance with Katie Holmes and the bizarre tutrlenecks I keep seeing him wearing in the tabloids I starting to doubt whether I can separate the man from his work anymore. I think it's still okay to like his films. I can turn a blind eye to the nonsense he is doing in the real world. |

I don't think there is anything wrong with liking the way someone perform's at their job. It doesn't mean you have to like them! Just like you can work with someone and they can be great at what they do but you still don't have to like who they are. I have to admit...I still enjoy Britney Spears' music but I think she is nuts!

I agree with you, Exitheuxa. I personally hate Tom Cruise, but acting is playing a part. You can still be a fan of those movies because it is not actually Tom Cruise, just a role being played. The people he plays do not actually exist, so you can enjoy them.
