I have written, e-mailed, and even gone to Congressman Paul Kanjoski 's office to try and speak with him on a community health issue. To date, I have not received a response. I do not expect Congressman Kanjorski to neccessarily have the same opinions that I have on the community health issue. However, I do expect Congressman Paul Kanjorski to respond to my letter because part of the oath that he took when stepping into office was to represent the people he serves. I believe part of serving the people is to listen, hear the people's view's and respond. I would respect Congressman Kanjorski more if he were to simply write a response to me stating "I'm sorry, I don't feel the same on the issue as you do. Please feel free to cantact me on any other matter." But to simply ignore a constituent is wrong. |
