I cant believe I actually put this under the "sport"s category. Two guys trying to kill each doesn't seem to fit the definitiion of a sport. Havent we progressed at all in the last 1000 years? Forget about the health of the actual fighters but what about the message being sent to our population? |

In my opinion Ultimate Fighting is as real a sport as any other out there. To begin with this type of sport is what the foundation of athletics was based in. Long ago people didn't didn't get dressed up in all types of pads and run around. They didn't have refs blowing a wistle whenever someone touched them. Athletics was founded in forms such as wrestling and fighting, often to the death. Beyond that, any man get sit in their backyard and shoot jump shots till there eyes bleed, however few men can have the guts, the strength and the determination to enter the ring and go all out against another person. In my mind wrestling, boxing and fighting sports of any kind are at the top of the athletic world and hence Ultimate Fighting is right up there! |

still it is a sport, and anyone who can have the courage and ability to get in the ring and do that deserves recognition in my book, i say UFC=a good thing

ultimate fighting blows, every fight is like a quick take down and then one guy just beating on another guys face...
UF is better than pro wrestling, but not much.
