Listen, yea jeter is a good shortstop i will support that. But even this early in reyes' illustrious career, you can tell he's a special talent. The guy gets on base no matter what, whether its a hit or a walk. When on the base pads, there is no other player that puts fear in the hearts of pitchers and cathchers. At this point in the season, he has more stolen bases than 90 percent of the leagues players will have at the end of the year. Putting aside stats, hes the most electrifying player in the game today, how can you beat him? how can you beat me?? |

reyes has much more upside, not to mention jeter's range isn't what it once was. jeter is definitely a future hof-er, no doubt, but reyes is the more dynamic player now, and if he stays healthy will be one of the greatest ever as well.
