I have reached the point in my life where my body just cant digest the calories from both a night on the town and a night of sweet indulgences. I choose alcohol. Watching a football game with a couple of Sam Summer ales. Going to the trendy restaurant and enjoying a few specialty martinis. At least it makes you feel good. After a few drinks I am down for just about anything. Compare this to how I feel after I eat a big desert. Normally when I am finished with a creme brulee or a few brownies I want to either go to sleep or regurgitate. |

I can have a brownie after supper, feel great and remember what I did the next morning. Many a great "idea" is hatched while a person is bombed. Maybe they were "down for just about anything" too. If it does not sound like a good idea while sober, why think that it is a good idea after you have had a few? |

At least dark chocolate is semi-healthy for you. I strive to find the health benefit factor in drinking beer, except to temporarily soothe a sore throat. My vote's on the bean.
