THUNDERCATS THE MOVIE: A STRONG MOVE OR A BOMB TO BE?

I am a huge thunderats fan. I grew up watching the show and never missed an episode. With the release of the new Transformers movie there have been rumors of scripts being made for several similar adaptation projects. Among the list is a confirmed report of a thundercats movie. I feel that this is a bad idea. There is too much at risk if the film bombs and based on the track record of other adaptation films, I would say that this is going to be a bomb. I mean look at the new transformers movie. It was terrible. In my opinion the movie should not be made. Thundercats was a great show, can't we leave it at that, why do we always have update everything and make a new high budget, low quality movie? |

I too am a big thundercats fan and while I share a concern for this movie I think that it is a good idea to make the movie. First of all the movie is will be cgi which makes it promising from the get go. If it were to be a live action film I could understand not making it because of course that would look stupid and would have no chance. Second, while there have been bombs when comes to similar adaptation movies, there have also been good ones. Look at spiderman 2, xmen 1 and 2, batman returns. This movie can be amazing if done right, and frankly I am willing to see that chance taken. |

i am also a bigg thundercats fan, i would love to see a movie but i dont think that it can be done to maintain the quality of the old show....sorry no movie should be attempted
