The conchords beat out tenacious d without a doubt. To start their televison skits are hilarious. Check out the scenes below in evidence. Second, their songs are much better than tenacious d's, i mean songs like jenny and business time out do tenacious d hits. In my opinion tenacious d is kind of lame. I mean there is no debate that jack black is as much a tool as carson daly. These new zealanders on the other hand bring a fresh and entertaining look to folk parody rock. |

You couldn't be more WRONG! The classic sound and attitude of the D, overtakes the sound of the conchords. Classic tunes like Tribute and F Her Gently revolutionized this brand of parody music. Furthermore, the tenacious d movie, Pick of Destiny, was hilarious. These guys definitely deserve a tv show of their own on HBO. When it comes to the all around package of comedy, music and looks, i think that it is a no brainer, The D all the way! |

i love flight of the conchords, used to be a big tenacious d fan and i still am, but right now my infatuation w/ the conchords makes me vote for them
